I believe that support from Council Members and our Mayor is what's missing in Sacramento.   I see the shift among our residents and one Mayor from the city to the west.

We're on the cuspid of something great.  The bicycle is perfect urban mobility.  I encourage our officials to come on board.  We need your support!

Sacramento Seersucker Ride has been cancelled

Forecasters are predicting Sunday as the hottest day in Sacramento so far this Summer.  Temps ranging in the 102F - 105F.

Rick, the ever caring nurse and organizer, wisely and lovingly chose to canceled the ride.

Bringing Sexy Back to Public Office

This is the man who runs the City of West Sacramento: Mayor Christopher Cabaldon.

Christopher was in Montreal last week and experience Bixi System, the city's bike sharing program.

He loved how easy it was to get around and how amazingly enjoyable it was.  So he came home and bought a bike.

He is so Cycle Chic!!!

Sacramento's Seersucker Ride

I just came back from buying the lovelies of dresses to wear next Sunday, at the First Sacramento's Seersucker Ride.  It seems that all things first, related to tweed and seersucker, usually have the Houston's at the helm.   The lovely Rick and Erin Houston will be hosting The Seersucker Ride June 27th 10:00 am, meet up at the Bike Kitchen.

So this announcement just made your stomach go into knots...wondering, OMG, what do I wear? What's seersucker anyway? Sac Cycle Chic to the rescue.

First off, I will share something about my dress...well, suffice to say polka dots and petticoat.  Enough of that.  Now let's talk about what you're wearing.  We have the example of our lovely compatriots from our nation's capital.  A group from DC The Dandies and Quaintrelles - Redemption through Style had their first Seersucker Social just few weekends ago.

This last weekend we had beautiful weather!! Lovely 80 degrees. It was time for going out to breakfast, coffee or just plain running around town and enjoying the first real summer day!
