I love fashion and happily talk about fashion and cycling in this forum often.  Yet  my goal is to bring cycling to the regular you and I.  No fears, no gimmicks, no equipment beyond your dear bike.

I realize that sometimes is hard for me to go beyond my passion and put into words the benefits of cycling to our communities and our world.  The friends over at Streetfilms have started a 10 part video series on "Moving Beyond The Automobile."  I believe is worth your time.  Below is the second video of the series: "Bicycling"

Cycle Chic Sundays Sacramento!

We'd love you to join us for some FUN.

WHAT: A nice Sunday ride follow by a tour of Capitol Park.
WHO: Anyone who want to have some Fun and laughter.
WHERE:  Meet for Coffee at McKinley.  The Chocolate Fish Coffee Trike will be available with some New Zealand coffee to purchase.
WHEN: Sunday February 20th.  Meet at Noon (12:00 pm) McKinley Park's Rose Garden on H St.  East Sacramento.


We will meet our docent, at 1:00 pm, for a tour of the park and the beautiful gardens.  Remember the Camellia Grove will be in bloom! Find out more: Capitol Park virtual tour.
Our tour will take about an hour and we will ride over to Hot Italian for lunch/dinner to sign up for the Savage Sprints that evening.
Come dress in your best Sunday bicycle riding attire, there will be a prize for the most stupendously chic rider!  Scarfs, gloves and Hats are encouraged!
Thanks to Practical Cycle, one of our most loyal fans, for donating two Marty May original designed t'shirts (especially for Practical Cycle) to award to the Chic'est dress Lady and Gentleman.
