Very lovely pic. I just hope the lovely lady does not actually ride on the sidewalk against traffic as the pic suggests and as so many lovely ladies here in Sac sadly do...

I had that comment before. First off when you're posing for a pic is prudent that you get out of harms way, and stand on the sidewalk.
Second, many of our lovely ladies in Sac are perhaps weary of how unwelcome it can feel out on the road. Sometimes the particular street might not have a bike lane and/or might have a share the road sign, but trying to take the lane (as the law requires) might be a death wish.
Fortunately, for those ladies that might be scare, in our lovely town the law allows for prudent cycling on sidewalks as long as it is a residential area.
Btw, I happened to be standing on 21th and "I" yesterday when bike cops where going against the traffic and on the sidewalk.
