I recently was invited by Practical Cycle to participate in one of their guided "Sacramento's Murals and Sculptures" bicycle tours. The lovely Hannah, our tour guide, showed us the history behind each and every piece of public art work in our midtown/downtown area.
Below some pics from the tour.
The tour is about 2 hours long and the cost includes and electric bike rental. They also have other tour options to satisfy any interest you might have, i.e.: architecture, city parks, history, nature, etc. Thanks Tim, Cassidy and Hannah for inviting me!

Thanks Lorena, your feedback is invaluable as we develop tours to serve local residents and their guests. As you know, the best way to really see and experience all that Sacramento has to offer is on a bike. Hanna has done a great job researching and choreographing some very interesting 2-4 hour tours that uncover a treasure trove of interesting info about Sacramento. We are now building the database of tour guides and welcome those interested to send a resume and cover letter.
Lorena! These are great photos - thanks for taking them. I'm away right now, traveling in Indonesia, so it is an absolute treat to see these pictures. Thanks for reviewing the tour and for all your work with cycling in Sacramento. I'm looking forward to reconnecting when I get back next spring.
Hanna
